Faster and FREE US Re-Entry

I have TSA PreCheck which in most cases is really good for getting through U.S. TSA checkpoints without having to pull out my electronics, carry-on liquids, and take off my shoes.

This post is about international travel.

If you have ever re-entered the U.S. and stood in the Customs and Immigration lines after returning from an international destination such as Mexico, the Caribbean, or Europe; you are aware of the long line in which I like to call the amusement park line because of the zig-zagging.

However, here’s a tip for re-entering the US from international travel without it costing you nothing more than a few minutes of your time.

Yes, you read that correctly. Although CLEAR and Global Entry offers the fantastic perk of getting through airport security quickly, no need to pay that annual fee of $179 for CLEAR or the $100 every 5 years for Global Entry when you can just download an app and get through Customs and Immigration faster than those in the regular line. LOL!

I recommend you download the app called Mobile Passport. It will save you time by allowing you to submit your passport details and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) questions in order to access designated lanes in the inspection area securely at most (not all) U.S. airports and cruise ports.

After completing the short form, you will be presented with a confirmation screen that will allow you to enter the Mobile Passport line. I live in Philadelphia so my home airport is Philadelphia International Airport and the regular line is always super long so when my travel companion said get out of line and download this app, I started telling any and everyone who would listen to do the same thing.

It saved so much time getting through CBP.
